Literature Text

A whole lifetime of pain would I endure
For one small smile from Your divinest lips
The ailments of the world could one smile cure
The world You hold beneath Your finger tips

Your love is more than any man on Earth
Could in his wildest dreams of love conjure
To You belongs of man the death and birth
The mountains rise and fall at Your pleasure

I offer You my every breath and limb
My mind my soul my body are all Yours
I hope Your love for me will never dim
As long as I remember You; my Cause
I know that my poetry has taken a bit of a religious turn recently; I am no missionary, my poetry reflects my current internal emotions, not what I am trying to impress on the world.

I am not ashamed of the fact that I believe in G-d, nor do I neglect or deny, in any way, the fact that I am Jewish. I do not, however, believe that I am in any position to tell others that their beliefs are wrong, or that mine are right. I also do not appreciate others trying to do that to me, no matter how subtle their techniques.

Please read this and interpret it in anyway you want; your comment, pro or anti, is appreciated.

Thank you
